Del 13 al 15 de septiembre de 2026, TA7AZC Golkem y TA7EK Emre realizarán una activación portátil de radioaficionados desde la isla de Giresun (AS-154), Turquía. La isla será activada para el programa IOTA, así como para WWFF, POTA y WCA.

Operando como YM7KK/0 , seremos completamente portátiles durante toda la activación. Dado que no hay infraestructura eléctrica ni agua corriente en la isla, toda la operación se alimentará con baterías y contará con el apoyo de sistemas de antenas portátiles. Todo el equipo de la estación y las instalaciones de comunicación se transportarán a la isla y funcionarán exclusivamente con energía portátil.

From September 13–15, 2026, TA7AZC Golkem and TA7EK Emre will conduct a portable amateur radio activation from Giresun Island (AS-154), Türkiye. The island will be activated for the IOTA program, as well as WWFF, POTA and WCA.

Operating as YM7KK/0, we will be fully portable throughout the activation. As there is no electricity infrastructure or running water on the island, the entire operation will be powered by batteries and supported by portable antenna systems. All station equipment and communication facilities will be transported to the island and operated entirely from portable power.
