Today, neighbors rely on Nextdoor in more than 315,000 neighborhoods across 11 countries.

Meet your Future Neighbors

As a member of the Sales Operations team, you will focus on preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for the sales organization. You will help drive revenue-generating projects, conduct opportunity assessments, and shape overall sales strategy and prioritization. During a typical week, you will use multiple data systems to compile data sets, review data, uncover insights about the business, and present findings and proposals to management. You will also manage operational tasks and resolve business-related matters on an ongoing basis.

The Impact You'll Make

This is a high-impact role. You will be a self-starter, independent thinker, deeply analytical, and detailed-oriented, capable of working in a structured manner to thrive in ambiguity. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, Account Operations, Marketing, Data Science, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Legal, developing a deep understanding of Nextdoor's business and translating this knowledge into building and optimizing key parts of the Advertising Sales organization. Current and ongoing work spans the following areas: sales strategy, strategic planning, operations, process creation, process improvement, international expansion strategy, and internal reporting. As one of the first key hires to support a growing senior business team within sales, you will help shape the way the global Advertising Sales organization reports on activities and ultimately grows the Nextdoor business.

This position will be based in New York and will report to the Head of Sales Operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluate and develop the people, processes, and systems needed to support Nextdoor's GTM strategy and execution, including: policies, coverage model/territory planning, sales performance data & reporting, business planning, and deal/order operations
  • Advising the company-wide Account Management strategy, ensuring "strategy" is part of the team's scope of responsibility, so they don't lose sight of customers and their goals
  • Planning customer lifecycles and setting the correct reachout process, including time of reach out, channels, and touchpoints, and enabling the success of the Account Management team
  • Overseeing Customer performance metrics and analytics and aiding with, or creating, reports to support the Account Management team
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to support performance improvement programs across the Advertising Sales organization that will build the foundation to scale. This will include contributing to the development of go-to-market playbooks, strategic projects to optimize productivity, process redesign, customer health analytics, and more
  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational metrics dashboards and reports using data systems such as Google Ad Manager, Salesforce, Qubole, and Looker and leverage this data to surface key insights and drive strategic decision making
  • Implementing and managing CS software and CS Ops activities and keeping systems updated
What You'll Bring To The Team
  • 8+ years of experience in consulting, business intelligence, analytics, finance, business/sales operations, sales strategy, or related field
  • A highly analytical and inquisitive work style with keen attention to detail, complemented by the ability to see beyond the numbers and drive meaningful business decisions
  • A strong understanding of relational databases and CRM platforms; advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Salesforce, Qubole, and/or Looker a plus
  • Understanding of the social media, digital advertising, and/or consumer internet industries
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Ability to navigate through and communicate complex ideas effectively - verbally, in writing, and presentations
  • A strong passion for Nextdoor's mission.
Rewards

Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create one overall rewards package.

The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $110,000 - $140,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. Compensation may also vary by geography.

We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With equal quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date.

Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
